What’s new from Coach Pri?

💥 We just kick-started our PM Level-Up program - so it has been a very busy but exciting week (more on that below)!

Kajabi has an amazing mobile app which means you can even listen to my content on-the-go while you walk your dog (I know you’re busy! 😉 ), and then pick it back up on your laptop when you’re back. Oh, and it’s a real LMS - so both clients and I can track progress, and address questions as we go!

PM Career/Interview Tips of the Week

💥 How to prepare for your job search using GPT and other tools:
Here’s what we learned from my client - let’s call him Aditya for privacy, who joined us today to talk about his strategies for success and how he landed multiple Principal PM job offers 😅 

Aditya’s strategies for success:

1. Have a clear job search strategy, and a list of 15-20 target companies. Some blanket applications can be done in addition, but targeted ones are a must.

2. Prepare 8-10 key behavioral interview questions and corresponding stories.

3. Leverage networking extensively - use tools like Blind not to just check salaries but to build relationships and ask for referrals to your target companies!

4. Get in the HM’s inbox, not Linkedin inmail 😄 Use tools like RocketReach to find out hiring manager emails and email them with insights on how you can help.

5. Practice case study and product sense interviews using frameworks and repetition.

6. Empathize with the hiring manager, their challenges, & share how you can help

7. Understand the company’s strategic goals & investments through earnings calls.

8. Importance of mock interviews - with a coach and also with peers in PM!

9. Be kind to yourself and stay persistent during the job search process.

10. Aditya’s mantra’s for success: Learn vs prove | practice gratitude| visualize success with humility | Detach from outcomes | Breathing & mindfulness | Embrace Imperfection | Frame interview as a conversation!
