So much is happening in the world of tech that we need to be aware of as Product Leaders! Here are some key updates from this week that might impact you:

💰 Tech Layoffs & Hiring Shifts – Google, Amazon, Meta and Salesforce have made more cuts, but startups & AI-driven companies are hiring. One tip: Expand your search beyond FAANG, or go to a department/area within a FAANG company that is growing 😉 

🤖 AI Advancements – OpenAI’s GPT-5 launch expected mid-2025, bringing better reasoning & multimodal capabilities. More AI-powered features & personalization are coming.

🌍 EU’s Digital Markets Act (DMA) – Big changes in platform regulations could impact marketplace, fintech, and ad-based businesses. Expect more transparency & data access requirements.

💳 Fintech Evolution – Stripe, Square, and PayPal are doubling down on embedded finance & AI-powered fraud detection. PMs in payments should track regulatory shifts & new revenue models.
