👋 If you’re new to this newsletter - Welcome!
What’s new from Coach Pri?
👋 Hey there,
Do you know what is the hardest part about coaching talented product managers in the Product-with-Pri client community? 😉 They’re always one step ahead - and never stop to inspire me!
Sometimes with their grit, sometimes with their results, and nowadays, more and more, with their AI tools and use cases they’re solving for!
Just last week, a client gave me a demo of a full productivity system they have build with Claude co-work - it thinks about ALL of their goals - health goals, career goals, and life goals, and acts like a “real” assistant. It applies to jobs, reminds them when to take a break and go to the gym, and tells them when to follow-up with recruiters. 😊
To share some of the awesome products clients are building, to share what I’m building for you all, as PMs and Product leaders, and to talk about the AI PM job market…
🔥 TLDR: I’m hosting our PM community meetup + AI Product Sense Masterclass this THURSDAY - April 7th (details below if you need them\).👇
🫶 As a thank you for being a subscriber, I’m offering 50% off tickets until EOB tomorrow/Tuesday, if you’d like to join us. Reply to this email with “meetup” and I’ll send it to you!
🎈 COHORT # 7 - PM Level-Up cohort (April 27th - June 5th)!
The best part, you can start right now.
This cohort will include a deeper focus on AI products, for both on the job, and interview skills.

P.S. If this newsletter is helpful, please move it out of Promotions and into your primary inbox so you don’t miss future issues. I appreciate you. 💛

PM Insight of the Week
A pattern I’ve been noticing in 2026: It’s not that PMs are solving the wrong problems.
They’re solving problems that are already well enough solved.
With tools like Claude Code and Replit, it’s easier than ever to build and ship.
But many of these products don’t change user behavior.
Not because execution is poor — but because the core problem isn’t truly unsolved. It is already solved to a good degree by competitors.
On the job, this shows up as:
building in crowded spaces with no clear edge
shipping improvements that don’t drive adoption
optimizing experiences users already tolerate
Strong PMs instead ask:
What’s still broken despite existing solutions?
Where are users still struggling or hacking around?
What are competitors not solving?
In interviews, hiring managers are listening for:
your ability to spot what’s actually unsolved
whether you challenge saturated problem spaces
clear thinking on why a user would switch (or not)
A question I’m reflecting on this week:
👉 What are your target users still tolerating today that no product has truly fixed?
🥕 Here’s a youtube video I created to help you with AI PM interviews, including mistakes to avoid, and strategies to succeed (please give it a like and share if you find it useful)!
P.S. I’ll be going deeper into these insights in our PM Masterclass this Thursday!

Ready to operate at the next level in 2026?
If this newsletter resonated — and you’re navigating bigger decisions, expectations, or career moves — here’s the best way to work with me right now.
A 6-week high-touch VIRTUAL coaching program for Senior to Director-level PMs, limited to 10 spots.
Upcoming cohort #7 - April 27th to June 5th (no cohort after that until August)!
Designed for experienced product leaders who want to:
Strengthen judgment and leadership presence
Build AI PM skills for real-world impact and interviews
Prepare for promotion, expanded scope, or a thoughtful next move
Structured coverage of topics - strategy, design, execution, metrics, leadership, behavioral & case interviews — with a senior-level lens, and with Gen AI context.
I’ve worked with 50+ Senior Product Leaders (Sr PM to Head of Product levels) at top tech companies across the U.S. (Amazon, Netflix, Stripe, Google, Meta, Adobe, Cisco, Apple, Nvidia, Intuit, Intel and more), and several high growth startups, who’ve expanded scope, moved to the next level, strengthened compensation, and — most importantly — built confidence in showing up as the leaders they want to be.
Not ready to work with me yet ? I got you covered!
If you want a clearer view of your current strengths and growth areas, I’ve created a PM Skill Level Assessment Test (aka, an in-depth quiz 😉 ) used by experienced product leaders to assess where they are.
What I continue to see — across so many PMs I work with — is that real momentum doesn’t come from just “preparing harder.”
🌟 It comes from a shift.
From wondering about interviewing → to practicing mock interviews
From overthinking → making decisions
From learning about AI → to actually using it in your thinking, your interviews, and your work.
That’s where the confidence starts to click. And honestly, those moments never get old to watch.
Because in this market, it’s not enough to know AI exists. The edge comes from how you apply it — how you reason through ambiguity, make tradeoffs, and lead with clarity.
🫶 If you’re somewhere on that path right now — exploring, preparing, or ready to make a move — I’m in your corner.
Until next time,
— Coach Pri
