Happy International Women’s Day (hanging out with my mom)!

👋 If you’re new to this newsletter - Welcome!

What’s new from Coach Pri?

👋 Hey there,

If you’re a woman, or identify as a woman and reading this - belated Happy International Women’s Day! I hope you got to do something meaningful with your tribe 💜

This year it feels special - Holi — the festival of colors — was also just a week ago, and both celebrations in their own way are about renewal, community, and new beginnings.

This weekend I ended up attending two different events, and interestingly both conversations centered around the same theme: financial independence for women.

One idea kept coming up again and again:
financial independence doesn’t happen by accident — it comes from building the right skills at the right time, making the right career moves (and yes, investing your money right too, of course 😉)

All this made me reflect on something I see happening in the product world right now.

We’re in the middle of a huge shift in how products are built and how product leaders are expected to think. AI is reshaping product strategy, product design, success metrics, and even the kinds of stories PMs need to tell in interviews.

So I have something new (and honestly pretty fun 🥳) to share with you.

Starting with the next PM Level-Up cohort starting April 10th, we’re evolving the program to go even deeper into AI Product Mastery — covering areas like:

• AI product strategy
• AI product design and product sense
• GenAI / LLM success metrics
• Deeper focus on AI product storytelling for interviews, and more.

👉 The best part - you’ll also have the opportunity to work on your own AI product concept or prototype, turning that journey into powerful product stories you can use in interviews 💪.

And no, this isn’t another “build your AI agent” course with 40 people in a Zoom room.

AI PM Level-Up will continue to run as a small cohort of about 10 PMs, because personalization, feedback, and real learning matter to me. I’ve seen firsthand how hard it is to deliver real value in large group programs.

Because in today’s market, the PMs who stand out are the ones who can think clearly about AI products, make strong product decisions, and communicate those ideas with confidence.

P.S. If you’d like to learn more about the upcoming cohort, or have questions, reply to this email with AI PM, and we’ll go from there :)

P.P.S. If this newsletter is helpful, please move it out of Promotions and into your primary inbox so you don’t miss future issues. I appreciate you. 💛

PM Job Search Insights - from Amazon Product Leader

Here are a few unique insights from our “Job Search AMA” session with Akshita Tiwari, PM level-up alum, and Amazon Product Leader:

1.Adopt a Value-First Application Strategy (instead of a “volume” strategy)

Focus on quality over quantity. Target 5–10 high-value roles per week where your experience is a strong fit and you can secure a referral.

👉 For senior PM roles, strategic applications beat mass-applying to hundreds of jobs.

2. Master Your Narrative and Control the Signal

Be intentional about the story your resume tells. Make sure your experience clearly aligns with the role (e.g., B2B vs B2C, AI deployment vs building AI platforms).

👉 If recruiters can’t immediately see the fit, they’ll move on quickly.

3. Elevate Your Interview Stories

Strong candidates don’t just describe what they did — they explain why they made certain decisions and the tradeoffs involved.

👉 Focus your stories on impact, outcomes, and product judgment, not just actions.

4. Go Deeper on Company-Specific Metrics

Don’t rely on generic metrics like “increase user adoption.” Research the company’s strategic priorities, revenue drivers, and customer segments using public reports and industry insights, and define your success metrics accordingly. (e.g. say “I recommend driving user adoption for <this category> of users by 15%, since they are your biggest revenue driver”).

👉 Tailoring your case answers to the company’s real business goals gives you a major edge, and helps you stand out from the crowd.

5. Turn Rejections into Strategic Feedback

Treat every rejection as data. Identify what didn’t land (case math, product sense, storytelling) and adjust your preparation accordingly.

👉 The PMs who improve fastest are the ones who iterate on their interview performance.

P.S. Would you like the full notes from this session? Reply to this with “AMA notes”, and I’ll share them with you.

Ready to operate at the next level in 2026?

If this resonated — and you’re navigating bigger decisions, expectations, or career moves — here’s the best way to work with me right now.

An 8-week high-touch virtual coaching program for Senior to Director-level PMs, limited to 10 spots.

Next cohort - April 13th to June 5th (no cohort after that until August)!

Designed for experienced product leaders who want to:

  • Strengthen judgment and leadership presence

  • Build AI PM skills for real-world impact and interviews

  • Prepare for promotion, expanded scope, or a thoughtful next move

  • Structured coverage of topics - strategy, design, execution, metrics, leadership, behavioral & case interviews, and AI PM interviews — with a senior-level lens.

I’ve worked with 40+ Senior Product Leaders (Sr PM to Head of Product levels) at top tech companies across the U.S. (Amazon, Netflix, Stripe, Google, Meta, Adobe, Cisco, Apple, Nvidia, Intuit, Intel and more), and several high growth startups, who’ve expanded scope, moved to the next level, strengthened compensation, and — most importantly — built confidence in showing up as the leaders they want to be.

  1. Not ready to work with me yet ? I got you covered!

  • If you want a clearer view of your current strengths and growth areas, I’ve created a PM Skill Level Assessment Test (aka, an in-depth quiz 😉 ) used by experienced product leaders to assess where they are.

🎊 Before we wrap up, a small piece of good news to share.

One of the PMs in our current PM Level-Up (cohort 6) just landed a Senior Product Manager offer - only 4 weeks into the program. It is in their niche or domain space that they are passionate about. And the best part - they are still in other interview rounds!

Over the past few weeks we focused on sharpening their career narrative, product stories, and interview strategy — and the results came quickly. But yes, after a lot of sheer hard work, practice, and effort from the client, and consistent guidance from me.

💙 Seeing PMs build clarity, confidence, and momentum in their careers is exactly why I love doing this work.

👉 The next PM Level-Up cohort starts April 13th, and we keep it intentionally small (around 10 PMs) so everyone gets meaningful feedback and coaching.

Until next time 💙
Coach Pri
