What’s new from Coach Pri?
✅ We successfully completed the PM Level-Up Program just last week! And phew 😅, it has already been a busy post program week.

So much is happening in the world of tech that we need to be aware of as Product Leaders! Here are some key updates from this week that might impact you:
⚡ AI’s energy demands are surging – Data centers are expected to drive 50% of U.S. electricity demand growth by 2030. PM takeaway: Infra, sustainability, and performance tradeoffs are becoming core product concerns.
🛍️ Walmart cuts fashion go-to-market from 6 months to 6 weeks with AI – Their new Trend-to-Product tool uses generative AI to speed up design. PM takeaway: AI isn’t just for chatbots—consider process automation opportunities in your space.
🌐 Secondhand market is booming – Economic shifts and sustainability trends are fueling resale platforms like Poshmark and ThredUp. PM takeaway: Consumers increasingly care about affordability + impact. Build with that in mind.
📉 Biotech sector hit by policy disruption – RFK Jr.’s reforms have triggered a 28% biotech stock drop since Election Day. PM takeaway: For PMs in regulated industries, policy moves = major product risk or opportunity.

PM Career/Interview Tips of the Week
How do you prepare for AI-ML Product DESIGN/SENSE Interviews?
❌ A lot of PMs are making the mistake of just preparing AI-ML concepts for these interviews, and not showcasing their core PM skills.
✅ If you want to land a job faster - you need to show that you’re a master of PM skills, and also AI-ML skills!
When you’re asked in an interview, “How would you design <this> AI feature?” — don’t freeze. In the last newsletter, we briefly talked about my P.R.O.U.D. framework - let’s understand it better so you can use it to structure your thinking and ace these questions that test your knowledge of Gen. AI product design:
P – Prompt & Input - What does the user provide? (Free text, clicks, preferences, context from history?)
R – Response Format - What kind of output does the AI return? (Draft, recommendation, summary?)
O – Optionality & Control - Can users regenerate, reject, or refine the AI’s output?
U – Understandability & Trust - How do you explain what the AI did and why?
D – Data & Feedback Loop - What gets tracked? What gets improved, & how?
🎯 Coach Pri’s Tip: Interviewers love it when you go beyond vague answers like “build a chatbot.” Also, be mindful of the type of model you propose to use - is it necessary and helpful for the problem at hand? LLMs are not always the best answer.
