So much is happening in the world of tech that we need to be aware of as Product Leaders! Here are some key updates from this week that might impact you:

🔐 Google to acquire Wiz for $23B

This is the largest cybersecurity deal in history. Wiz went from $0 to $350M ARR in <4 years. Google Cloud is doubling down on enterprise security.
👉 PM takeaway: Cybersecurity and cloud infra PMs are in demand. Follow this space if you want to work on high-impact, high-growth B2B problems.

🤖 ServiceNow acquires Moveworks

Moveworks, the enterprise AI assistant startup, just got scooped up to help ServiceNow go all-in on AI-powered workplace automation.
✨ Fun fact: I worked with CEO Bhavin Shah (to advise them on defining their target customers) back in 2017 when Moveworks was just 4 founders and an idea! Wild to see this full-circle moment.You can read more about this acquisition here.
👉 PM takeaway: Enterprise AI is heating up fast. If you want to break into AI PM roles, now’s the time to learn how LLMs are used in IT, HR, and ops.

🚀 Nvidia’s Unveils Next-Gen AI Hardware at GTC 2025

At its annual GPU Technology Conference happening right here in San Jose, California this week, Nvidia introduced the Blackwell Ultra AI chips and the Groot N1 AI model for robotics. Nvidia also announced collaborations with companies like General Motors to integrate AI into autonomous vehicles. ​You can read more about Nvidia’s conference here.

PM Takeaway: Staying abreast of AI hardware innovations is crucial for PMs involved in AI-driven products, as these developments can significantly impact product capabilities and performance.

PM Career/Interview Tips of the Week

How do you prepare for Technical PM Interviews?
Most PMs just prepare a lot of technical topics and think they’re all set for their next technical interviews. They’re wrong. While preparing your technical concepts and knowledge is important for these interviews, it DOES NOT help you stand out in this crowded job market!

My Pro tip to help you stand out: Marry your overall product thinking (design, sense, execution & metrics) skills with your technical skills!

Here is my 7-step framework called ‘FASTER’ - to help you ace Technical Product Design/Execution/Metrics interview questions such as…

“Design an API for an AI/ML based Analytics Product or Platform.”

1. F = Function & Fit - Clarify question, company context, ecosystem, product goals + north start success metric

2. A = Adoption Drivers - Key users, Use cases, Adoption Drivers

3. S = Success Metrics - Create your product’s leading and counter metrics to measure success, focused on the RIGHT users!

4. T = Technical Design e.g. API versioning, rate liming, security, stability, latency, availability and other considerations

5. E = Edge Cases and Execution Risks & Tradeoffs

6. R = Real-world feedback loop & iteration - how do you measure success post launch, and improve the product? And, don't forget to summarize your answer!
